Overview: Mentally, Harley is almost a child. A twisted, perverted child, but a child nonetheless. She often shows off for people, and like showing off her little "projects" to the Birds at any opportunity. She's rather inquisitive and usually quite cheerful, but can be petulant and bratty if things don't go her way. She is not at all above throwing a temper tantrum when she loses. If she succeeds, she's positively unbearable, parading her victory for hours.
She has an interesting reaction to power. When in the presence of the Joker, she’s entirely submissive. She’ll do anything he says. In other situations, however, she will be asserting herself very vocally as the person in control of the situation, and be parading this newfound power.
She is a masterful actress, though. She has a whole stable of false personalities she can put on at a moment's notice.
Other Equipment:

History
Harley had an interesting childhood, to put it lightly. She grew up in a very, very Christian household, with a father that very, very vocally disapproved of quite a few things, including homosexuality, the Democratic party as a whole, gun control, etc. As she grew older, she found herself becoming in part the very person her father constantly railed about. She found herself having bisexual tendencies, as well as some interest in bondage. She did a masterful job keeping these things hidden from her father, taking up sewing and acting as hobbies to help, until one day, her mother caught her kissing another girl. Her father was told, and he immediately drained her college fund and booted her out of the house, essentially disowning his own daughter. Harley went to live with friends and got a job as a model to help pay her way through college.
She took up psychiatry, finding herself to have a knack for it and getting her undergraduate and bachelor's degrees in a mere 7 years from Gotham U before getting a job at Arkham Asylum. She was assigned to treat the Joker, being, to her surprise, the most qualified doctor they had available. All the others were treating the other members of Arkham's motley patient pool. During their sessions, the Joker managed to cajole her into telling him her past, and he used this to manipulate her. After a few months of bi-daily sessions with the Joker, she finally went over the edge, and found herself falling in love with the man, despite his absolutely proven psychosis. She made a costume for herself and helped him break out of Arkham a number of times, eventually earning herself a padded cell. The Joker returned the favor and helped her break out, and she's been lying low ever since.
Recently, she's taken up a bit of a personal project in the form of the Birds of Prey. Nothing has really happened for a while regarding the Joker, so she's keeping herself occupied.
