Relationships:
Overview: Barton barely ever speaks, only really talking to people when they’re incapable of responding. He has a bit of a daddy complex, often making his “dolls” in a twisted attempt to earn his father’s approval. He sometimes keeps the “dolls” he makes, but other times he just dumps them in an alley, usually wrapped in a trash bag. The criteria for keeping or dumping a doll are unknown, even to him.
He views other humans not as men, but as toys waiting to be made.

History
Barton was the son of the Toyman, Winslow Schott, and he learned the hard way just how disturbed his father was. When he was 3, his father began to routinely abuse him, before abandoning him in the foster system three years later. The only memento he had was a china doll, a toy that got him ridiculed by the other children. He was called a girl, among other, worse names, but he merely internalized this abuse.
He displayed great aptitude at science, especially anatomy, and spent his spare time alone, doing God knows what. He managed to pay himself through college and medical school, becoming a surgeon. He kept the doll, becoming attached to it until it was lost in a move. Two weeks later, the movers were found mutilated, skin bleached white, hands and legs rendered useless through skin grafts, and faces almost completely covered in skin grafts and tattooed to look like the face of a china doll. They were found alive, and surgeons managed to save them, but they weren’t able to get any conclusive information out of the men. To this day, those men are in an insane asylum, constantly gibbering about dolls and toys.
Barton has continued to make men and women alike into dolls to this day. He keeps some of the dolls, but others he dumps on the street.
