Jervis struggled, ramming the scissors into the throat of the one trying to disarm him. He tore it free and went to stab downwards at the other.

The one stabbed in the neck went down with a gurgle, clutching her neck. The other one was stabbed in the arm, but William swung the crook at Jervis's face, hoping the steel weapon would knock him out.

Jervis was hit and fell back. He kept grip on his scissors and grabbed Thea, dragging her forward and ramming the scissors at her throat, leaving it right there.
"I will kill her!"

"You won't. You need her." William said, holding the crook by the circular end and pointing it like a sword.

William faltered. "You coward." He said. "Fine. Have her." He left, abandoning his dead and injured concubine, two following after him.
