Ollie was only here to make sure Thea didn't do anything too remarkably stupid. It had been her idea to vacation to Gotham for the weekend, Queen Consolidated was brokering a deal with Wayne Enterprises, so his mother had insisted he bring Thea along. So he wasn't only here to chaperon. "Hi, I'm Oliver Queen. I had an appointment to see Mr. Wayne." Ollie said, walking up to the receptionist. He checked on Thea in the periph.

"You know you don't have to drag me along for this," she told him, folding her arms across her chest. She had only been wearing a dress because she had been made to come along by her mother. "You could have just let me go after we were out of mom's sight."

"You are my responsibility. Mom told me to keep an eye on you and make sure you don't do anything too spectacularly dumb, so I'm going to do exactly that." Ollie said. "Mr. Queen, 40th floor. The elevator is right around there." The receptionist pointed around the corner. "Thank you." Ollie said, motioning for Thea to follow as he walked to the elevator.

"And what could I do that's dumb?" she questioned. "I may have done things that mom doesn't like, but that doesn't mean I have to be watched all hours of the day," she complained.

"Let's think on that for a moment. You've nearly died in 2 separate car accidents, and you've gone to hospital for something relating to drugs 3 times, all while I've been home." Ollie said, hitting the elevator button. "You seem to be inclined to do dumb things. I'm to make sure you don't injure or kill yourself."

"Do you really think my first thought is 'New city, let's go find and do some drugs'?" she questioned, "No, that's stupid. It's Gotham, I want to explore and see what it has to offer. And no, not in the way of drugs."

"Okay then. How about the numerous psychopaths roaming the streets?" Ollie asked. The elevator arrived, and he stepped inside, holding the door for Thea.

"It's daylight. I'd stick to the better parts of the city. It's not like I go walking around the Glades randomly at home," she pointed out.

"One time thing," she said, "Friend wanted to meet there. Not doing that again."

"Because "friend" totally translates to "dealer"." Ollie said.

"Except this time it didn't," she told him.

"Mm-hm." Ollie replied. His mind wandered to his gear. He had his gear in another bag, in the trunk of the car, because he was a paranoid bastard, but he had a feeling he would need it. The elevator dinged and opened, jarring Ollie out of his thoughts.

"Can I just sit out here somewhere?" she asked, "This stuff bores me."

"Don't vanish off somewhere." Ollie said, as he knocked on the door to Wayne's office.
