White Rabbit wanted to see if she could make an ally. The night was young, and the Bat was on the prowl. So here she was, waiting in an alleyway, over two unconscious and one dead punk, the three of whom were trying to rape a young woman. They weren't trying for very long.

The suit still felt odd to Bruce. It wasn't long ago that he still utilized his League of Shadows uniform. It had taken time to learn about Lucius Fox and to gain access to what he had. And then he had to fix it, turn it black, add the bat design, make his weapons and equipment he couldn't get from Fox...
Well, it felt good, different, but good. He figured it would take a lot more time to get used to it. It was skin tight, like the other had pretty much been, but it was stiffer, stronger, so his moves were still a bit off, but he'd overcome.
He ran and jumped from one rooftop to the next. The cape was new, but it was useful. He felt the drag it produced. He'd have to watch his jumps a bit.
He moved along and slowed. Checking alleys was something he liked to do; crimes happened there enough, they were dark, off the main path, a good place to check. And there he saw three people on the ground, and one standing over them.
He leapt off the side, casting his arms out, taking fistfulls of cape to slow his descent as it took the form of a glider, more or less. He landed somewhat behind the standing figure, slowly rising, cloaked in his cape.

"Not bad." White Rabbit said, turning to face the cloaked figure who'd just appeared behind her. He certainly cut an imposing figure, what little of him was visible in the shadows of the alley. He looked like some sort of vengeful demon of the night, but she figured that was exactly the look he was going for.

"Who are you?" he hissed, not using his normal voice. He had added an edge to it, a gravely tone so that his identity wasn't obvious. On the inside of his cape he gripped a batarang, just on the off chance he might need it.

"That's certainly a good question. I'll tell you if you can catch me." She flashed a smile and dashed off, across the street and into another alley.

He threw his cape aside and lifted his grappling gun with his left hand. He shot the line out, remembering all of his training with Slade. He took his aim, and shot, but for her leg. He anticipated the arc of the wire and her movements.
If this didn't work, he'd just chase her down. One of these people was probably dead; he needed to get her.

She heard the gun fire and the wire incoming, glancing behind her and cartwheeling, the line clattering to the ground. "Come on, chase me!" She yelled to him, before hopping over a chain link fence.

He withdrew the line as he ran. As soon as he heard the end clink against the body of it, he shot it upwards, pulling himself up as soon as it connected to a pipe. He pulled himself onto a rooftop, staying above the woman, and then jumped, intending to get ahead of her to cut her off.

Not bad. He was on the rooftops. Rabbit vaulted over a car, and another, before ducking into another alley. She needed to make it to the rendezvous point. If she was going to make an ally of Bats, she needed to be timely. "I musn't be too late." She muttered to herself, smiling.

Well, he got by her. He kept running, keeping his grappling gun ready. She was fast, but they were probably of equal speed, so that wouldn't help him out. The added help of the grappling hook might be useful.
He grabbed a single smoke bomb from his belt into his other hand. As soon as they were about to take a corner, he threw it so that she wouldn't have a view of what was about to come.

"Doesn't help, darling." White Rabbit said to him, before ducking into a building nearby. The rendezvous point was another building over.

He slowed a moment and looked at the building. He didn't want to waste time, so he rushed in, but as careful of his surroundings. Although a moment later he close his eyes, listening to his surroundings. He'd find her.

She flicked her whip out, destabilizing a platform of bricks which crashed down nearby. She used the sound to mask her escape, but made sure to leave a trail for an experienced investigator like Batman to follow, while she walked into the other building, to set up for her next trick.

She was good. He looked around, and went upwards, taking a quick look from there. There; that was the trail. He leapt after it and went to the next building, cloaked in his cape once more.

"And showtim-" White Rabbit began muttering, before something slipped a bag over her head from the shadows and yanked her into the dark. Two men stepped into view, both armed with pistols. "Come out, Batman." One called into the building.
