Bruce didn't know what to feel, with Kate knowing his secret. He still had trouble moving around Wayne Manor with his wound, which probably wasn't going to heal very well, considering he still tried to go out as the Batman, and he still fought. He was so foolish, but it was what he did, it was what he knew.
Bruce slumped down in a chair facing his fireplace. It was still early in the morning, but he wanted the fire.

Jaina was tired. She hadn't had too much sleep the night before. She crawled out of bed and pulled a robe on, walking into the hall. She walked towards the fire, since the mansion was ungodly cold, and saw Bruce. She said nothing, simply sitting next to him and snuggling up next to him.

Normally Bruce would be on top of this in some romantic way, but he wasn't. He didn't even want her beside him, with his wound. "Good morning," he said.

He pushed himself out of the seat and to his feet, "I'm fine," he told her. He grimaced in pain. Damn it, he should have stayed sitting.
