Should he keep moving? No, he'd be detected and followed again, no doubt. Should he wait, and fight her? Try to ambush her and take her down? That would certainly be helpful, but could he outfight her in his current state? Get the drop on her? He wasn't sure.

Kate followed the signal as quietly as she could while jumping rooftops. He had stopped moving; that could be a good or a bad sign.

He wished he had this built into his cowl, but he was still working on it. He placed a piece over his eye and threw some smoke bombs out, rushing from his spot and taking cover through the smoke and behind something else, scanning for a heat signature. Where was she?

Because she was trying to find him on her watch, Kate hadn't realized that he had been so close. The smoke bomb took her by suprise, causing her to start coughing. Gas mask, why did she never think to carry a gas mask? The smoke was too sick to see through. Should she use her watch? No, he'd catch her by surprise.

He dove out of the smoke, aiming to take her in the chest with a punch. He didn't want to hurt her - she seemed to be on his side - but he couldn't let her follow him.

The punch took her by enough surprise that she couldn't block it. The blow knocked her back, and her CQC training took over. She grabbed his arm with one hand and yanked him closer.

He would have reacted, but he was hurting, his reaction was too slow to try to stop her.

"Sure" Kate said, letting go of his arm and stepped back. She was being a bit pushy about this, admittedly. But she had a hunch, and it wasn't one she could let go of.

"Fine" Kate said, deciding that it was tiem to play possum. If she kept followeing him, then he'd think she was a fangirl in a suit, and she figured that that would get her nowhere. Instead, she went for plan B. "See you around then" she said, turning.

He watched her, and started moving, but not in the proper direction, he was going to go out of his way, just in case.

Kate kept her distance at all times, relying on her tracker watch to determine where he was going. He wasn't gonna just let her follow him after all.

He was in too much pain to realize there was a tracker on him. He kept going, nearing the Batcave.
