One of the batarangs knocked a thug on to the ground as he was about to hit Kate.
"The hell?" Kate maintained her fake southern accent. As she looked down she saw a downed batarang, which she then picked up. While she was distracted she was punched in turned eye by a thug.

Bruce picked himself up and threw another at that man. Whoever this person was, they were in danger now, he guessed. Taking a hit after fighting so well didn't look good.

The hit to her eye caught her off guard. She blocked a punch from the other side. She figured this might happen, it was one against five after all. She ducked another punch, wincing as her eye stung. That was gonna be black in the morning.
She elbowed one gentleman in the teeth before taking a step to regroup.

Bruce threw two more batarangs to try to give her space as he closed the distance.

The batarang cut one of the thug's faces. He cursed and trurned to see what hit him. "Shit!" he said, seeing Bats. “Uh, guys...“
Kate took the oppurtunity to back out of the fray so she could think. She didnt plan on running, but Shock And Awe tactics werent working.

Bruce drew the cape around himself, moving like one large shadow.
"Go," he growled, "Before I break all of you."

They all ran, trying to get away from Batman. Kate snatched the bags as they ran, putting them with the others.
"Ill make sure that the cops get these diamonds back to where they belong" Kate said in her altered voice. "Thanks for the assist."

He nodded, drawing his grappling gun. He fired it, intending to snare some legs. He wanted to use fear and surprise to take them down, since he couldn't risk actual combat.

One of the thugs fell, his leg tied up by the grappling hook.
"I have to get one of those" Kate said, before lobbing a batarang at the back of one's head to knock him out. The remaining three kept running.
