Equinox needed another. He need his "hero". He had pictures of purported "heroes" within Gotham, but he was focusing on the ones that tended to eschew masks or facial coverings. They tended to be easier to find. Capturing was a whole other deal.
Whoever this creep was, he knew what the fuck he was doing. Harley liked to think of herself as an escape artist (even though, deep down, she knew she wasn't), but this guy was good. He also chose to house her in an abandoned apartment building, as opposed to the warehouses and satellite apartments Harley herself preferred. She sat there, simply waiting to see what would happen. Not that she could do much of anything else anyhow.

Kory was somewhere else, but surprising not that far away from where the two weirdos were located.
Dawn was always telling her to avoid bad neighborhoods like this when all by herself, but Kory felt like exploring somewhere new. After all, trying new things is what life is all about.
Kory wore her fiery red wig that always seemed to stay on no matter how much she moved around her, her green eye contacts, and her purple two-piece complete with platform shows.
She didn't necessarily plan on doing anything heroic today, but you never know and Stephanie was the one who told her she needed to keep a secret identity.

Equinox looked, saw the girl in purple with the red hair skipping down the street, and checked the photos in his hands. She was the fire user. Apparently, she called herself "Starfire". He stowed the pictures and walked out of the building, past where he'd left the female clown bound to a chair and gagged, and out to the street.

Kory waved to a suspicious looking weasel of a man in a hoodie and pouted her lip in disappointment when he didn't wave back.
She didn't take much note of the the red stain on his clothing.
"Must be ketchup," she nodded, hoping over a puddle.

Equinox drew Order from it's sheath, and approached Kory from behind. He pressed the gun to the back of her head, pulling the hammer back. "Raise your hands slowly. I really don't want to have to kill you early." Equinox stated, in a perfect monotone.

Somebody poked Kory in the back of the head and was saying something..but Kory cheerfully interrupted with -
"Hi, i'm Ko-" Secret identity she remembered and nodded, "Starfire! A Teen Titan! Are you in trouble cause I would gladly be of assistance! Be it catching bad guys, blowing things up, or helping the elderly cross the street - i'm the hero for you!"

Equinox kept the gun pointed at her head. He needed a way to disable this girl somehow since she was obviously not going to comply to the fact that a gun was pointed at her head. A pistol whip might, but it might not. He had no knockout drugs on him... or did he?

"Hello? Anybody there?"
Ignoring the gun barrel pressed against her she whipped around and the man face to face.
She frowned, "You look suspiciously..like a bad guy."

Equinox stepped back, pointing the gun at her forehead. He might have some in his pocket. He checked, finding it to be true. He just needed the time to administer the rag.

Kory also stepped back, getting into a defensive position, one arm over her chest, the other one reaching behind her back.
"You're not the Cluemaster are you?" she asked, "I've heard about him, but i've yet to actually meet him myself."

"Afraid not." Equinox said, dropping Order back into it's holster and slapping the drug-soaked cloth over her face. He pulled her close, using his arms to pin era to her body.

This sudden attack caused her to release the small bomb she had been carrying under shirt and had obtained during her defensive position.
Once it reached the ground, it would explode instantaneously.

Equinox saw the bomb, and made a guess as to it's purpose. He released Kory, hoping the drugs she'd inhaled had impaired her somewhat, while he dove for cover.

Luckily Kory's unconscious body rolled right out of harm's way when the bomb exploded...releasing only a harmless puff of red smoke.

Equinox peered from cover. His information on Starfire seemed to indicate some sort of pyromania, so he was ready if there was to be an explosion.
