Relationships:
Overview: Equinox is on a mission. He won’t allow anything to dissuade him from this mission. He must maintain the balance, or reality will cease to exist. At least, in his mind, it will. He feels no emotions, and his voice tends to reflect it. He doesn’t feel he needs allies in his quest, and the way he operates actually kind of precludes the idea of allies. He’s entirely antisocial, and only begrudgingly goes into public areas. He rarely ever speaks to random civilians.
He has a very specific way of killing, which can lead to his downfall. He has to kill a hero and a villain at the same time, for when he takes evil from the world, an equal amount of good must be eliminated to maintain the balance.
Other Equipment:
- His guns. Order and Chaos are twin revolvers, each with their name carved into the side of the barrel. Order is painted white, and Chaos is painted black. Scion is his shotgun, for fights when Order and Chaos won’t cut it.
History
Alistair Cross is an invented name. He considers Equinox to be his true name, but he uses Alistair Cross when in public since people don’t exactly take too well to one-word names. He knows very little of his own past, but he knows one thing; he is an arbiter of the balance. He was placed on this Earth by forces unknowable and omnipotent, to ensure the continued balance of good and evil, light and dark, order and chaos.
He has decided that these “heroes” stand a great threat to the balance. With their decided allegiances, they threaten to tip the balance. So he’s decided to eliminate them. All of them.
