Accessories: His mask. He wears leather gloves when wearing his mask and using that persona.
Clothes: Roman is always wearing a refined suit. Dress shoes, dress pants, a button up shirt to compliment (color-wise) and a vest and suit jacket with complimenting tie. It could be a black suit/pants/vest combo, or gray or white. He also wears a Rolex at all times.
Anything Else? His face is actually much more hollow than it appears. He pads his cheeks with flesh-like pads to give him some more rounding and not appear like he might be deathly ill. He removes said pads when he dons his mask. He also wears a lot of makeup to look better, otherwise he looks pale.

Overview:
Roman is a cold and composed individual. He deals with people quickly and plays the game as he sees fit; using whatever means to accomplish his end results. He has no sympathy for people, and has no problem preying on their emotions and fears.
He’s intelligent, in academic, street and business sense. He plays people, doing whatever he has to in order to get ahead. He appears as someone who will be helpful to others, appearing indifferent at worst, but he’s very cold towards people.
He despises other wealthy individuals, especially Bruce Wayne. Their parents were connected, and he was always held up in regard to Bruce, and came out on the bottom, even though he was older than Wayne. He never forgave his parents, but hides his distaste for others while in public.
He’s ruthless in business, and in his life as a crime boss in Gotham. He cares about profit and about getting a job done efficiently, and that’s about it. That, and saving his own ass. He doesn’t personally get involved in things, and covers all ties that might lead back to him.
Roman isn’t the most well-built man, nor is he skilled in fighting, but he is an excellent marksman, and likes blades. He was good at biology in school, and has had some medical experience. He likes to torture his foes, focusing on the face, and slow, painful deaths. He’s also good at acting and disguise, and organizing crime.
His health is failing, but he hides it with makeup and padding inside of his mouth. He isn’t at risk of dying, but it’s still not that good for him.
Roman is also bisexual.

History
Roman was born into an elite family in Gotham, holding a great amount of wealth. They ran Janus Cosmetics, and while that wasn’t the greatest way to earn the respect of their wealthy peers, it was still a job that generated enough wealth for them.
Roman grew up under his parents, being told how to behave, being held up in regards to others of standing, and not really being allowed to have his own life, lest he embarrass his parents and damage their name.
When the Wayne family welcomed their son Bruce into the world, Roman was held up to him, even despite the age difference. The Waynes were perceived as the strongest family in Gotham, so the Sionis family held themselves against the Waynes. Roman grew tired of this, but could do nothing about it.
When the Waynes were murdered, the Sionis family took the position as strongest, but Roman had nothing to celebrate. Two people had been murdered, what was there to be happy about? Only that he was no longer compared to Bruce, at least.
Roman went to the best college that his parents could get him into, and returned to Gotham to oversee Janus, intended to take over for his father soon. Roman proved to be very adept at business and at manipulation, which his parents praised. He was growing to be the son they wanted.
Then there were problems. Roman began a relationship with a small time theater actress named Jade Williamson. When his parents discovered this, they had a connection burn down the theater while Jade was inside, killing her so that Roman would have no distractions.
Roman was the first one onto the scene of the fire, intending to pick her up there that night. The fire was raging strong, and he ran inside. He wasn’t able to find her, and was pulled out by fire fighters. Later, when they had put out the blaze, he walked through the remains and found a charred black mask, which he took.
Roman went on to murder his parents, mixing in poison with some of their things; his mother’s makeup, his father’s aftershave. They died, and Roman proceeded to stab them, and then stab himself to fake a break-in. It managed to work, and he recovered and took control of Janus.
He ran the company for years, and at the same time used the connections he found that his parents had. He found the arsonists, the criminals, everyone operating on the other side of the law that they had paid. He began to use them, wearing the mask to hide his identity, becoming a crime boss.
He absorbed more criminals into his growing ranks. He became a crime lord in Gotham, known as the “Black Mask”, while at the same time running Janus.
At some point soon after he fell ill, and began wasting away. He took to padding his cheeks and applying makeup to give himself a healthier appearance.
When Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham, Roman began to see him on a few occasions, attempting to find the best way to get Wayne and his business, and contemplated killing the other man, but thus far has decided against it.
