"Something about the danger exhilarates me." Zatanna said. She put her water bottle back down and returned to her bag, continuing to attack it full-force.

"I completely understand" Ted said, starting to reminisce. He smiled as he remembered the glory of being champion, his eyes moving over to a belt hung up on the wall. "I only retired because they said I was too old." He walked over to where hesat his Wildcat costume, and held it up just high enough so Zatana could see it before putting it back on the bench. "I showed them!"

"Do your haters actually realize you're the Wildcat?" Zatanna asked, taking another break to lean against the training bag. "Really defeats the purpose if the only reason you donned the costume is to prove something to the haters, and they aren't even aware you're in the costume."

Ted chuckled. "Of course it isn't" she said as he looked down at the one piece catsuit. "Besides, they weren't wrong. Boxing is a young man's game" he said sadly. "I retired so I could teach the next generation, and that's why I'm the Wildcat. Gotham has Batman, Starling City has The Hood, and now Metropolis has us."

"Aren't we the Justice Society OF AMERICA?" Zatanna asked. "Meaning we're really the heroes for the whole nation?"

Ted cocked his head to the side. "Well, kind of. But its not like we do a lot of travel throughout the country at the moment" he said. "But you could argue that we ARE training heroes FOR the whole country..." Ted shrugged and gave up on explaining the name. "Alright, I got outvoted" he said, throwing his hands up. "Ask Alan why he picked the name."

Zatanna chuckled. "I'm just yanking your chain. It's fun to watch you get all flustered."

Ted stared at her, his mouth dropped slightly as he tried to stammered out a sentence, his face starting to turn red. "I, I-" Ted sighed. "You are WAY too good at that."

Zatanna chuckled. "You make it too easy." She returned to beating the ever-loving crap out of the training bag.

"Well I was always the pretty face of the team" Ted said, posing like a cardboard cutout model as he did. "I am afterall, rocking these shorts."

"You wish." Zatanna said with a chuckle. "I do believe I've usurped your position. Tell me, how many times have you seen yourself in a picture compliant with Rule 34?"

"Shockingly" Ted said, "more than you think." He remembered having looked up Wildcat Rule 34 just after he learned what Rule 34 was. The results were less than pleasing on occasion.

Zatanna was a little taken aback. "Damn, you're more with the times than I thought you were. I wasn't aware you could even use Google." She paused to take another drink of water. "Although, as the chick, I think I'm the hot one."

Ted chuckled at her reaction to him knowing how to use Google. He was well acquainted with the website, and had mastered the art of self Googling. "Agreed" Ted said. "Plus you are the youngest of all of us. And the leggiest."

"Indeed." Zatanna agreed, starting to work on some kicks and continuing to (now literally) kick the crap out of the bag.
