Ted smiled as he wailed on a punching bag in front of him. Owning his own gym had its perks, and one of them was having so much equipment. He had thrown his shirt aside, standing there in a pair of old boxing shorts. Thankfully, he looked damn good for his age.
His Wildcat suit was in a pile with his walking around clothes. He always kept the suit on under his clothes, but he didnt like to work out in it. Ted took a moment to cstch his breath. He unrolled his bocing tape and threw it aside as he approached his water bottle.

It was workout time, and Zatanna was reporting in. She dressed in short-shorts and a sports bra, and she didn't notice Ted as she walked in, setting her water bottle on a window sill and strapping kickboxing paraphernalia to her hands and feet.

Zatanna started a little, and turned to see Ted. "I have a profession, Teddy. I'm just here to keep in shape, and make sure you don't hurt yourself." She started limbering up a little, walking over to an open training bag.

"Not much" Ted said, sipping from his bottle of water. He rubbed his knuckles to get a cramp out of them. "So what's the act? Dumped in a pool of scorpions in bondage gear?"

"Really?" Ted asked, curious. "That sounds almost beneath your level of skill" he said, keeping an eye on her as he approached his discarded clothing. He pulled on his muscle shirt and threw his boxing tape in a trash can.

"There ya go" Ted said. "I was wondering what insane thing you were going to do with it." As he walked over to get a towel to wipe his sweat off, he muttered "And people say boxing is dangerous."
Ted found a nearby weight bench and sat on the end of it, watching his ally as she wailed on the bag.

Zatanna took a break after a few minutes. "Boxing certainly can be dangerous, I just go overboard with my escapes. I like to challenge myself." She grabbed her water bottle and took a drink.

"Whatever floats your boat. If you wanna be both the magician and the lovely assistant who is always in danger" Ted said, offering her a towel to wipe off her sweat "be my guest." It was rare that he saw a more dangerous decision than choosing to fight crime, but Zatana always found a way.
