Overview: Hank Hall is aggressive and can be easily angered which makes him the ideal football player. After losing his brother to gang violence when they young Hank developed an extreme sense of hatred for bullies and injustice in the world and when the Teen Titans were formed he used this to become Hawk, the avatar of Chaos. The only person who seems to calm Hank down is his girlfriend Dawn who joined the team as Dove the opposite of Hawk and she calls herself the avatar of Order.

History
Hank and Don were born to Rae and Irwin Hall in Washington D.C., the capitol of the United States. Their father Irwin was a judge and often received unfounded threats from criminals that he had sent to prison. Hank and Don were almost inseparable and even as children proved to be polar opposites of each other, Hank was the more aggressive while Don was patient and serene. When they were teens however Don was walking home with his brother and a car came racing past and from the passenger window someone open fired on the two teens.
Don was struck several times while Hank was uncommonly lucky and was unharmed. Hank yelled for someone to call an ambulance but it was too late as his brother had bled out in Hank’s arms. Hank had football to channel his rage for the most part but that didn’t stop him from tracking down a gangbanger or two and beating them half to death. He received a scholarship to Gotham University and left Washington to pursue a sports career. It was at Gotham U that Hank met Dawn Granger, whom like him lost a sibling to violence but took it in peaceful stride rather than anger like Hank did.
Hank and Dawn began dating and when the many villains and corrupt officials began appearing that they decided to join the Teen Titans with several other likeminded students from Starling City and Gotham. Hank adopted the identity as Hawk, the Avatar of Chaos and Dawn as Dove, the Avatar of Order.
