"Things make too much sense, Ollie!" she told him, "You come back, the vigilante starts appearing. I don't care if we've been over this before... It all just makes too much sense..." She looked up at him, "I...I think I heard you, when...when that man grabbed me last week...when he was trying to sew me into that skin blanket...thing..."

"It might have been some kind of paranoid delusion. You were under a lot of stress." Ollie said. He'd had the voice changer on; it wasn't possible.

"Maybe...," that was a real possibility, but...but maybe deep down, she knew it was the vigilante there, and...maybe she had always known they were one and the same? She looked back at Oliver, "Please...tell me the truth..."

Ollie grimaced. "Trust me, Thea. You don't want the truth."

"I do, Oliver!" she yelled at him, feeling a lot of emotions welling up, she felt like tears might start to come, "You were dead for five years! You return home, and I don't know what to think of you! Something happened to you, and...maybe you are a better brother now, but...I don't know. Oliver...I need to know. Tell me!" she yelled at him.

Ollie ran a hand through his hair. "Alright, fuck it, fine, I am the vigilante, okay? I realized this city was in deep shit, and it wasn't going to dig itself out anytime soon. It needed a kick in the ass to start fixing itself, and I intend to be that kick in the ass."

Thea fell silent. He was being serious, wasn't he? It...it almost sounded like he was lying to her, but she didn't think so.
"...show me...," she said.

"Follow me." Ollie said, walking over and keying in the code for the basement door. He walked down into the Quiver, showing her.

She stood and looked at it, taking it all in. She walked and looked at his suit, and his bow, and then turned back to him.
"I...I don't know what I should even say..."

"You wanted the truth, and now you have it." Ollie said, completely stonefaced.

"...you're a murderer..."

"DON'T! I am no more a murderer than a soldier is!" Ollie exploded at her. "I kill in self-defense. I don't kill maliciously. I'm not some whacko with a bow, I'm trying to save this city from itself!"

"How many people have you killed?" she questioned him, "Do you even know? And a soldier fights in a war. Is that what Starling is to you, Oliver? A war?"

"Yes, I suppose you could put it that way. Starling is a battleground, now more than ever because of that fuckface who decided to shoot Carrie with a bow!"

"And before that?" she yelled, "I followed the news. I know about the people you killed, and trust me, some of that sounds like murder, not defense. And just who were you fighting when you got back? What the fuck were you even thinking when you decided to become a bow-carrying vigilante?" she screamed at him.
