"What is the closest place you can think of to hole up?" Stephanie asked. She sighed as she realized they might have to go to the emergency room. But they couldn't in these get ups.

"We might have to get you to the hospital" Stephanie admitted. "But ho-"
Stephanie then remembered that they were at the bus stop. "Well I feel dumb" she said to herself, before offering a hand. "Let's get going."

He took the hand, "I don't need a hospital," he said. He had no doubt that he had some breaks or fractures, but he wouldn't go to a hospital, not now at least.

"Fine" Steph said, trying to think. "We have a changing room back at the school. You have to ditch that costume for now." She knew he couldn't argue with that. Her father and the other guy would be coming after him.

The bus arrived at turned stop a couple seconds later. "Come on!" she said as the door opened.

"We don't have a lot of options" Stephanie pointed out. "Unless you feel like stripping down to your skivvies." She pulled off her hooded cloak and handed it to Terry.

Stephanie dragged Terry on, paying the fare for the both of them. The bus driver stared at them for a moment before shrugging. The bus was nearly empty, so Stephanie sat Terry down on a seat close to the door. "So how bad did that fall screw up your back" Stephanie whispered as she slid into the seat behind him.
